the competition was ridiculous and really unfair! it seemed like everything was set up.. at least they should have given her acting lessons
and how come paolo bonjia gave her the highest grades and was looking at her all the night, and he was ready to give the necklace even before the announcement.. it was a total mess

  2. Im not really happy with the result as I was expecting another contestant to win the crown. But let's wish her the best in Miss Universe 2011, hope she can make it for Lebanon.

  3. wow, seriously the competition can be described with one and only one word, unfair. the winner is a complete disgrace to lebanese beauty specially when there were girls as beautiful and as graceful as Paloma Mady, Sonia, and Carolina. Every answer that the winner gave was completely off topic and irrelevent and yet she got a grade not lower than a 9.9 (absolutely ridiculous) the representation of lebanese beauty in the international pageants is going to be a total disaster considering the winner can not even measure up to the slightest of beauties. and seriously, get some acting lessons because normally, a girl would be shocked when her name is announced as the winner she wouldnt be gently caressing her face.

  4. you're all right it was unfair ridiculous and honestly a disgrace! even when it comes to beauty they want to cheat it!!!!! it's outrageous how a girl like yara can be crowned miss lebanon! she doesn't measure up at all! it wall as fake and set up before the competition even started! and paolo bonja was ridiculous with his grades! minimum grades to all the girls and then he hits yara with a 9.9 EVERY TIME! i thought CAROLINA NASSAR should've been the queen that night! she is incredibly beautiful, classy, very gracious and elegant! and all her answers were reveiling of her strong character! she was the best between all 16 girls and was the only one who could really represent lebanon in miss universe! it was unfair to let her walk out without a title! that's one potential miss universe who didn't get her chance at representing lebanese beauty!

  5. AS usual..another desappointing miss lebanon like every year, the runner ups are always way better, Carolina should have won the title like Daniella bou Gharios should have won the title last year, and the list goes on...since when the LBCI elected a decent Miss lebanon?? & don't get me started on that presenter " tarek mounir" that keeps presenting the show every year, like as if he's good on what he's doing.
    Shame on you LBCI.

  6. CAROLINA NASSAR should've been the queen as usual the competition was unfair and really shame on lbc

  7. beauty is not about looks, make-up or clothes true beauty comes from being yourself, the more you show who you really are the prettier you will be.............. And CAROLINA NASSSAR WAS PERFECT IN EVERYTHING and all her answers WERE RIGHT SHAMEEEEE ON LBC

  8. You have go to be joking!!!!!!! I think you forget that whoever becomes miss lebanon represents us at miss universe how on earth can you send someone like this to miss universe!!!!we definetly have no chance in ever winning if every year the ugliest of girls are chosen...i have to agree with a lot of people that CAROLINA NASSAR should have been crowned!!!!!!!!!

  9. Smile is one of the most important factors for a beauty contestant to win - I don't understand how the jury followed Bonjia and voted for Yara she has one of the ugliest smiles and her gum shows - she needed to visit a dentist before applying for such title adding to that her IQ is low compared to some other contestants who gave very clever answers like Carolina Nassar - shame on LBC we can never be straight forward in this country we got used to cheat - what a pity!!!

  10. Is it the reason why they keep saying beauty comes from the inside ? ok why not? but if so let them please do "inner beauty contests" or IQ contests with a qualified jury ... concerning the Miss Lebanon 2011 election, it was nothing less disappointing than last year and the year before, tradition maybe ?
Anyway it would have been good to see for once a queen with a beautiful face, like the first runner up for exp, unless beauty critria has changed...

  11. we knew from the begining that this uggly girl will win because the grades were ridiculous and when she answered false she had also 9.5/9.9 etc. How much did she pay for all this???

  12. well this is Lebanon after all !!! well there was another ugly girl who was fourth in the competition she looks like a p...g Pamela Jabbour or so i cant remember her name ! and the miss chi rafe3 hahahah :)

  13. absolutely repulsive and disgusting. whatever happened to the once gracious lebanese beauty pageants that actually used to crown BEAUTIFUL women. Paloma Mady or Carolina should have won, maybe THEN we would have had a slight chance at winning the miss universe or miss world title. Thank you Miss Lebanon organizers for flushing our chances at winning these international pageants down the drain only because of a few bucks. its funny how the country works, they even want to meddle with beauty contests! thank you for electing the most mediocre of all girls in the competition. poor yara doesnt even know how to speak, her answers did not make any sense, some words she said do not even exist in the arabic dictionary (ex: oumoumiyyah) and when she was asked about 2i3lam, she said 2i3lan. absolutely ridicoulous. poor girl doesnt even stand a chance. how about next time judges do consider looking at real beauty like paloma and carolina instead of selling their votes for a few dollars.

  14. Did you notice the 9.55 of Paolo Bongia rating Carolina Nassar's answer? which by the way was the smartest answer and the only one straight to the point... Well done Paolo!!!

  16. Shame on LBCI!!!!!!! This is a very known practice of this TV Channel!!! Miss Lebanon or even Star Academy!!!! hahaha... Only money counts in this country!!! They talk about corruption in the governement sectors.... Look at the media and private sectors!!!! Ya Haram 3a Lebnan.... All the beautiful girls around, and they choose this girl with such a horrible smile... Really pity and shame on this Jury!!!!!

  17. shame on LBC realy i mean 3 girls deserved to be in front of yara : Crolina Nassar, Pamela Jabbour and Paloma mady. talking about miss universe we will have no chance in front off all the beauties fairly chosen. She does not represent the lebanese beauty and yeah get some acting lessons

  21. Dear All, i have went across all the comments and as anyone can see it's obvious to note that something always goes wrong and the wrong girl is choosen. I beleive that Carolina was a better candidate to take the Miss World & Universe challenges for our dear country but anyway i urgently ask the admin of this site to modify the above article content and include Carolina's name in the results. by the way even though she's not mentioned yet her name was remembered and this shows how people were impressed by her.
    Future will show ...

  22. Ridiculous & Dissapointing !
Some contestants were totally below average !
Most of the contentants' answers were not realated to the question in any kind or shape !
And the one who was crowned .....NO COMMENT,She's scary ! & her answers were kinda stupid !,& the weirdest thing is that all the judges' marks were beyond 9.8,thats FUNNY,Pretty obvious there's something wrong !
& above all that, the evening was so unorganised !

  23. why yara will represent lebanon in both, miss universe and miss world? shouldn't the 1st runner up go to one of them? at least we would have more chances to win like this...

  26. Carolina, you deserve to be a real princess. You captivated our hearts with your beauty and grace...to hell with the necklace and the title. You won the hearts and minds of all Lebanese...except of course some of the jury's and the parents of the fake Miss
